SorTex focuses on testing and developing sustainable methods for pre-sorting textile waste. This is done with a focus on competence development, scaling, streamlining and the use of new technology.
On this page, we continuously update with knowledge, activities and results related to the pre-sorting of textiles.
During the project period, analysis and testing of pre-sorting methods will be carried out in collaboration between the project partners in Denmark and Sweden. All results and experiences will result in a practical handbook with best practice methods for pre-sorting textile waste. The methods will be evaluated based on environmental as well as social conditions and effects.
The handbook and the project's other results can be used by municipalities, waste management companies and businesses, among others.
